Acceptance

Using ByteRecipes means you agree to these terms

By creating an account, accessing ByteRecipes, or using any feature on the service, you agree to these terms and to comply with applicable laws. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Cooking and safety reminder

ByteRecipes provides recipe and planning information, not medical, dietary, or food safety guarantees. Always use judgment with allergens, substitutions, storage, and safe cooking temperatures.

Accounts and billing

Account responsibilities, plans, and payments

  • You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure.
  • You must provide accurate account information and keep it reasonably up to date.
  • Certain features are available only on paid plans, and access may change if your subscription changes or ends.
  • Payments, renewals, and payment method management are handled through Stripe.
  • We may suspend or remove accounts involved in fraud, abuse, repeated policy violations, or attempts to bypass product limits.

Content and rights

Your content, our service license, and public sharing

  • You retain ownership of content you create, subject to the rights needed for ByteRecipes to host, process, display, and back up that content.
  • If you make content public, you allow ByteRecipes to show it within public discovery, recipe pages, feeds, and related product surfaces.
  • You are responsible for ensuring the recipes, text, prompts, imports, images, and other material you submit are lawful and do not infringe third-party rights.
  • If you import or generate from third-party source material, you are responsible for having the right to use that source material.

Acceptable use

What you may not do on the service

  • Post unlawful, abusive, deceptive, infringing, or harmful content.
  • Use bots, scraping, or automation to spam, harvest data, or disrupt service operations.
  • Attempt to bypass moderation controls, subscription limits, AI credit limits, or account restrictions.
  • Interfere with service availability, security, authentication, or other users' access.
  • Use ByteRecipes content or tooling in a way that violates applicable law or third-party rights.

Service changes

Availability, changes, and limitation of liability

ByteRecipes is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may modify, pause, limit, or discontinue features at any time, including AI-assisted tools, planning features, imports, or subscription offerings.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ByteRecipes is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform. Our service may experience downtime, interrupted requests, incomplete AI output, or data inconsistencies, especially during updates and deployments.
